i <3 u is a photographic tribute to the creativity, pride, and resilience of Hmong culture, inspired by the street-style energy of Fruits Magazine. This project began in 2019 at the Merced Hmong New Year, where I was drawn to the vibrant colors and intricacy of traditional Hmong garments.

With the help of my best friend and photographer, Maggie Wilde, we set out to document the extravagant, intricate designs passed down from Hmong ancestors, while also celebrating the ways modern personal style continues to shape and evolve Hmong tradition.
